Answer :

  • 80 tiles

Given :

  • Rectangular tiles
  • Length = 10cm
  • Breadth = 6cm

  • Rectangular region
  • Length = 80cm
  • Breadth = 60cm

To find :

  • Tiles

Solution :

Firstly we have to find the rectangular tiles and region

(1) Rectangular tiles

  • Length = 10cm
  • Breadth = 6cm

As we know that,

  • Area of tile = length × breadth

Where , l is length (10cm) and b is breadth (6cm)

》Area of tile = length × breadth

》10 × 6

》60cm²

(2) Rectangular region :

  • Length = 80cm
  • Breadth = 60cm

As we know that,

  • Area of region = length × breadth

where , l is length (80cm) and b is breadth (60cm)

》Area of region = length × breadth

》80 × 60

》4800 cm²

Now we have to find the tiles :

  • Number of tiles = Area of rectangular tile/Area of rectangular region

》4800/60

》80

Hence , 80 tiles
