The rate at which a person’s heart beats per minutes depends on the age of the person concerned.

The heart of a healthy adult person beats 60 to 100 times per minute.

The heart of a young boy or girl up to age of 15 beats 70 to 100 beats per minute.

On an average, a human heart beats for approximately 8- time in a single minute.

If we talk about the total heartbeat rate in a day then it will be equivalent to 115000 times that will be equal to a total of 42 million in one year.

Hence, it will be more than 3 billion throughout our life.
