100/5 = 20 times breadth and
144/12 = 12 times length
hence area of both rectangles are same so, the fited into each other...

area of the rectangular regions is:
A₁=100×144= 144000 cm²
area of the tiles is:
A₂=12×5= 60 cm²
the number of the required tiles is:
n=A₁/A₂=144000/60= 240 tiles
