Using automated teller machines by means of debit cards
Some banks have restrictions for use of withdrawals using cheque book/withdrawal - 60 withdrawals per half year
In the case of debit cards, as per RBI notification, transactions using own bank machine is upto 5 times free and other banks machine is upto 3 times free per month
For cash withdrawal through automated teller machines, the amount varies according to banks - it varies from 20000 to 50000 per day
For withdrawal using cheque book/withdrawal slips, there are no restrictions in many banks and some banks do not allow more than one cash withdrawal per day.
