- Using General Term of Arithmetic Progression —
- a = 12 ( Initial Number )
- d = 4 ( Common difference of the series )
- a^n = 96 ( Highest number in the progression )
- Here, n = No of terms we have in our series.

a^n = a + (n – 1)d

Now, Putting values in the above formula,
⇒ 96 = 12 + ( n – 1 ) 4
⇒ 96 – 12 = ( n – 1 ) 4
⇒ 84 = ( n – 1 ) 4
⇒ 84/4 = n –1
⇒ 21 = n – 1
⇒ 21 + 1 = n
⇒
Hence, 22 two digit numbers are divisible by four.
