Basically....hackers r of two types ..that is
1.white hakers - these hackers are usually...from the officially appointed hackers ..who usually, work under the IT sectors..( information technology)
Whereas,
2. Black hackers- these kind of hackers r usually..work...illegally ...and they many hack someones account to make them unhappy, or to tease them.

black hat hackers
white hat hackers
grey hat hackers
black hat hackers: they are the ones who hack for their personal needs or to steal data. They violate the rules of cyber security and break into one's account and steal money or data. They are not supported in the society.
white hat hackers: these generally compose of the cyber security. They generally hack into computers to protect the ones from the malicious ones(black hat hackers). these are generally for the security of one's PC.
grey hat hackers: these are the hackers between the black hat hackers and white hat hackers. they may sometimes violate the laws but to say they are not as good as white hat hackers.
