The types of Pranayama and they are described as follows:
There are four types of Pranayama. This is actually breathing practice which cools body, emotions and mind effectively.
- Ujjayi Panayama- This keeps the body warm. By this technique of contracting throat and breathing through nose, your lungs get completely.
- Bahya Pranayama- This is also called external retention. In this you have to breath in and breath out forcibly and the breath should be held.
- Nadi Sodhana- This means ''to purify''. In this through left to right nostrils the breath flows.
- Anuloma & Viloma Pranayama- First of all close right nostril with the right thumb and inhale the oxygen with left one slowly
