Answer:

there are four division in which resources are divided

Explanation:

On the basis of origin:

abiotic- those things that are composed of non living things such as rocks , metals etc

biotic- obtained from the biosphere and have a life such as human, flora and fauna.

On the basis of Exhaustiblity:

Renewable- resources that can be renewed or replenished by chemical, physical and mechanical process. rg wind, solar energy, water, wildlife, forests etc. They are also divided into flow or continues.

Non renewable- these occur over a very long geological time. These resources take million years for their formation. Some resources like meta are recyclable but resources like fossil fuels get exhausted with their use.

On the basis of ownership:

Individual- these are lands owned privately by individuals. Eg plantation, plots etc.

Community owned- resources that are accessible to every member in the community. Eg parks, picnic spots etc.

National- technically are resources belong to the nation. The country has legal power to even acquire private lands for good use. All minerals, wildlife, forests within country boundaries and oceanic area upto 12 nautical miles from the coast belong to the nation.

International- The oceanic resources below 200 hundred nautical miles belong to the EEZ(exclusive economic zone) belong to the open ocean. No one can take any resources from their without permission from the international Institutions.

On the basis of status of development:

Potential- Found in a region but have not been used yet. They have high potential for wind and solar energy but have not been developed propely.

Developed- they are survey myd and there quality and quantity have be recognized for using. They depend on technology and level of feasibility.

stick they have potential to satisfy human needs but humans don't know how to use it eg hydrogen

reserves- subset of stock. They can be put into use with the existing technology but their use has not started yet.

If this helps you then please vote. Thank you. have a great day ahead!
