Answer:

There are 2 types of plant tissue

1. Meristematic Tissue

2. Permanent Tissue

Explanation:

The meristems are the tissues having the power of cell division it is found on those regions of plant which grows. Types of meristems :-

1. Apical Meristem:- It is present at the growing tip of the stem and roots and increase the length.

2. Lateral Meristem :- It is present at the lateral side of stem and roots and increase the girth.

3. Intercalary Meristems:- Present at internodes or base of the leaves and increase the length between the nodes.

Permanent tissue are divided into two types simple permanent tissue and complex permanent tissue

simple permanent tissue is is subdivided as parenchyma, collenchyma and sclerenchyma .

parenchyma tissues provide the support to the plant they are loosely packed and has intercellular spaces

collenchyma tissue provide mechanical sport thickened at the corners having very intercellular spaces it allows easy bending of various parts of a plant without breaking.

Sclerenchyma tissue makes the plant hard and stiff taken to the lignin and no intercellular spaces cells of these tissues are dead and commonly seen in the husk of coconut.

complex permanent tissue are made up of more than one type of cells . all the cells co-ordinate to performs common function they are subdivided as xylem and phloem.

xylem helps in the transport of water and minerals and phloem helps in the transport of food
