Edge of the wooden block= 3m 60 cm
                                            = 360 cm
Volume of the block             = a3
                                            = 360 cm * 3
                                            = 1080 cm
Edge of the wooden piece  = 12 cm
Volume of the piece            = 12 * 3 cm
                                           =  36 cm
No. of pieces that can be cut = 1080 cm/ 36 cm
                                               = 30
Ans. = 30 wooden cubical blocks of edge 12 cm can be cut from another wooden cubical block of wood of edge 3m 60 cm.

Answer:

Answer is 27000 blocks

Step-by-step explanation:

Edge of smaller cubical block= 12 cm

Volume of smaller cubes = 12×12×12 cm^3

Edge of larger cubical block = 3 m 60cm

= 360 cm

Then, volume of larger cubical block = 360×360×360 cm^3

So, number of smaller cubes obtained from larger block = volume of larger cubical block / volume of smaller cubes

= 360×360×360 / 12×12×12

= 27000 blocks
