Hey!
___________________________

Side of the wooden cubical box to be cut = 20cm

Volume of the box = side^3
Volume= 20×20×20
Volume = 8000 cm^3

Length of the log of wood = 8 m = 800 cm
Breath of the log of wood = 5 m = 500 cm
Height for the log of wood = 80 cm

Volume of log of wood = length×breath×height
Volume= 800×500×80
Volume=32,000,000

Number of cubical blocks which can be cut from the log of wood if there is no wastage=

Volume of log of wood / volume of cubical box

= 32,000,000 / 8000
= 4000 cubes

hiii!!!

here's ur answer...

first of all, we have to find the volume of both the cubical blocks and log of wood.

given the edge of the cubical block is 20cm.

volume of the cubical block = side³

= 20×20×20

= 400×20

= 8000cm³

now,

length of the log is 8m = 800cm, breadth is 5m = 500cm and height is 80cm.

volume of the log = l×b×h

= 800×500×80

= 32000000cm³

hence, no. of wooden blocks can be cut from the log of wood = 32000000/8000

= 4000

4000 cubical blocks can be cut from the log of wood.

hope this helps..!
