i = V / R
= 220 / 1200
= 0.183 A

Current passing through electric bulb is 0.183 A

\huge {\underline{\pink{Given:-}}}

Potential Difference ,V = 220V

Resistance ,R = 1200Ω

Resistance of Heater Coil = 100Ω

\huge {\underline{\blue{To Find:-}}}

Current in both Case ,I

\huge {\underline{\green{Solution:-}}}

Using Ohm's Law

• V = IR

Where,

V is the Voltage

I is the Current

R is the resistance.

For Bulb

V = IR

Substitute the value we get

➺ 220 = I × 1200

➺ I = \frac{220}{1200}

→ I = 0.18 A

Therefore, the current flow in the bulb is 0.18 Ampere.

For Electric Heater

V = IR

➺ I = \frac{V}{R}

Substitute the value we get

➺ I = \frac{220}{100}

➺ I = 2.2 A

Therefore, the current flow in the bulb is 2.2 Ampere.
