how much current will an electric bulb draw from a 220 v source if the resistance of the bulb is 1200 ohm ? if in place of bulb, a heater of resistance 100 ohm is connected to the source , calculate the current drawn by it.​

For the electric bulb:

V = 220 V.

R = 1200 Ω.

Using Ohm's law,

V=IR

220 = I × 1200

220/1200 =I

I =0.183 A

For the heater:

R = 100 Ω.

V = 220 V.

Using Ohm's law,

V= IR

220= I×100

220/100= I

I =2.2A
