In a uniform magnetic field,

F⃗ =q(v⃗ ×B⃗ )

|F|= qvBsinθ

F⃗  is force vector

v⃗  is velocity vector

B⃗  is magnetic field intensity( which is equal to force divided by pole strength)

θ is angle between velocity and magnetic field

× is vector product operator( the CROSS PRODUCT)
