mol CaCO3 = (50 g)/(100.087 g/mol) = 0.4996 mol CaCO3

Again, we have a 2:1 ratio, so

(0.4996 mol CaCO3)x(2 mol HCl per mol CaCO3) = 1.0 mol HCl
