How much heat must be supplied to raise the temperature of 200g of water from 35 c to 75 c?

Q=mS(t2-t1)
S=specific heat of water=1cal/gm℃
Q=200×1×(75-35)
Q=8000 cal
Q=8 kcal

amount if heat supplied = m×c×∆T

and here m=200g

∆T=75-35=40C

and c for water is 4.186 J/gmC
so, Heat=200×4.186×40=33488J
