In World War II the German Nazis murdered 6 million Jews this was known as Holocaust.Anne’s diary gives a true insight to the terror of the Holocaust and it has also impacted the public's knowledge of Holocaust. This Holocaust was the worst genocide of the Jews who were blamed for the current poor economic state in Germany. Therefore Jews was fired from their jobs had to run away to other countries. They were forced to work in German factories and then sent off to concentration camp which was a place where people where kept like animals, tortured, starved and people ultimately died. Anne's diary mentions about her father shifting to Amsterdam and then to this Hiding Place, a small Annexe where her father worked also.
