Velocity when it reaches the ground

= √(2gH)

= √(2 × 10 × 0.8)

= 4 m/s

Momentum when it touches the floor

= 10kg × 4m/s

= 40 kgm/s

Momentum transferred by 10kg mass to ground is 40 kgm/s

40 kg m/s

m=10kg

u=0

a=g=10m/s^2

use v^2=u^2+2as

v^2=0+2*10*0.8

v^2=16

v=4

use   p=mv

p=10*4

therefore p=40kgm/s

momentum on floor=40kgm/s
