extracellular fluid which bathes d cells of most tissues, arriving via blood capillaries and being removed via d lymphatic vessels is tissue fluid.Tissue fluid acts as a fuelling station in terms of cell nutrients, and it is the main component of the extracellularfluid, which also includes transcellularfluid and plasma. Tissue fluid contains glucose, fatty acids, salt and minerals such as calcium, potassium and magnesium.
