Formula :

Amount of heat = Q

Specific heat capacity = c

Change in temperature = Δ t

Mass = m

Q = m c Δ t

Find the heat

Q = m c ( t - t' )

= > Q = 8 × 4.2 × ( 90 - 10 )

= > Q = 8 × 4.2 × 80

= > Q = 8 × 42 × 8

= > Q = 64 × 42

= > Q = 2688

ANSWER:

The amount of heat is 2688 J

Q=MC(T2-T1)

C Specific heat capacity of water...which is 4.185joules

Q=8×4.184×80

=2677.76 J
