how much pressure will a man of weight 80 kg exert on ground if 1) he is lying 2)he is standing on his feet? given that area of body of man is 0.6 and that of a foot is 80cm sq

Pressure = area / force or weight
= 0.6 / 80
= 0.6 *10 / 80*10
= 6/ 800
= 0.0075 pa

2)
area = 80 / 100 m^2 = 0.8


Pressure = area / force or weight
= 0.8 / 80
= 0.8 * 10/80*10
= 8/800
= 0.01
