Answer:

1 kg sugar costs = 32 rs.

6.8 kg sugar will cost = 6.8×32 rs. = 217.6 rs.

1000 g jaggery costs = 40rs.

1 g jaggery costs = 40/1000 rs. = 4/100g rs.

250 g jaggery will cost = 250×(4/100) rs. = 10 rs.

Total rupees Surekha has to pay shopkeeper = 217.6rs + 10rs.

= 227.6 rs.

Answer- 227.6

*EXPLAIN*

she buy 6.8 kg sugar at the rate of 32 rupees

she buy sugar of 6.8*32 repees
= 217.6 rupees

And also buy 250 gram jaggery at the rate of 40 rupees per KG

We know 1 KG = 1000 Grams

So she buy jaggery of 1000/250 = 4
= 40/4 = 10 rupees

So surekha has to pay 217.6+10 =

= 227.6
