Nv=25

MV=36

ANNUAL INCOME = No. of shares × D% × FV

1500 = No. of shares ×12/100× 25

No. of shares = 150000/300= 500 shares

Sum = No. of shres × MV= 500 × 36 = 18000

The man must invest Rs.18,000
