How much sulphuric acid (H₂SO₄) can be obtained from 5kg of pure sulphur (S₈) ?

The overall reaction

2S+3O2 +2H2O -->2H2SO4

3×32g of S gives = 2×98g H2SO4

5 Kg S gives = x gm H2SO4

X=(5000×196)/64 =15312 gm H2SO4

H2SO4 formed = 15.312
