Speed if the Train = 45 km/h

$= > ( 45 \times \frac{5}{18} )mps = \frac{25}{2} mps$

In order to cross a bridge of Lenght 229 m , the train will have to cross a distance of ( 171 + 229)m = 400 m

Hence ,

Time Taken = Distance/Speed

➨ 400/25 ÷ 2

➨ 400 × 2 /25

➨ 32 s

Hence ,

The time taken will be 32 s.
