According to the World Health Organization, for the maintenance of the good health there is the need of atleast 400 grams of the fruits or vegetables per day per person by an adult. This 400 grams of the vegetables or fruits excludes the Potato or something starchy. Maintaining this reduces the risk of Non Communicable diseases (NCDs). Also, if the dietary fibers are not sufficient in the food then also the daily requirements of he person are not completed.
The total energy of the day should be less than 30% taken from the Fats and less than 5 g of salt should be consumed on the daily basis.
