C2H2+5/2O2 —-—-———->2CO2+H2O

1mole of acetylene will react with=2.5mol O2 1 mole of C2H2 will react to form=2 mol CO2 1 mole C2H2 will react to form= 1 mol H2O 1mole of any gas occupy= 22400 ml.

So 40 ml acetylene will react with

=40 x 2.5 ml=100 ml of Oxygen.

40 ml acetylene will react to form

= 40 x 2= 80 ml of CO2.

40 ml a ethlene will react to form

=40 x 1 ml of water (vapour)
