How much water be added to 16 litres of milk worth Rs.6.75 per litre so that the value of the mixture will be Rs. 4.50 per litre..?

Let x be the litres of water added

30×6= (30+x)4.50

180 = 135+4.5x

x = 45/4.5 = 10 litres
