Given that:

  • Temperature = 69 °F

To Find:

  • Temperature in celsius and kelvin.

We know that:

  • C/5 = (F - 32)/9 = (K - 273)/5

where,

  • C = Temperature in celsius
  • F = Temperature in fahrenheit
  • K = Temperature in kelvin

Finding temperature in celsius:

  • C/5 = (F - 32)/9

Putting the value of F.

ㅤ↠ㅤC/5 = (69 - 32)/9

ㅤ↠ㅤC/5 = 37/9

ㅤ↠ㅤC = (37 × 5)/9

ㅤ↠ㅤC = 20.56 (approx.)

Finding temperature in kelvin:

  • C/5 = (K - 273)/5

Cancelling 5 both sides.

ㅤ↠ㅤC = K - 273

Putting the value of C.

ㅤ↠ㅤ20.56 = K - 273

ㅤ↠ㅤ273 + 20.56 = K

ㅤ↠ㅤ293.56 = K

ㅤ↠ㅤK = 293.56

Hence,

  • Temperature in celsius = 20.56 °C
  • Temperature in kelvin = 293.56 K

GIVEN :-

  • Temperature in Fahrenheit = F = 69°f

TO FIND :-

  • Temperature in Celsius = C = ?
  • Temperature in Kelvin = k = ?

SOLUTION :-

(F-32)/9 = C/5

(69 - 32 ) / 9 = C/5

C = 5x 37/9 = 20.56° C

K = C + 273 = 20.56 + 273 = 293.56 k

Thus, the temperature in Celsius

= 20.56°C and in Kelvin = 293.56 k
