length of rectangular scenery = 20cm
breadth of rectangular scenery = 12 cm
hence perimeter of scenery = 2(20+12)
= 2(32)
= 64 cm
now as wire is to be stick on sides of scenery hence perimeter = length of wire required
= 64cm

What will happen to the perimeter of a rectangle if its length is doubled and breadth remains the same.....
as New length = 2l and breadth = b then
perimeter before = 2(l+b) = 2l + 2b
perimeter now = 2(2l+ b) = 4l + 2b
or it will increase by 2l (length)
