Explanation:

Hello Mate!

Work Done = Force ● Displacement

( Remember = The Work Done is dot product of Force and displacement. )

Here, Force = 15 N

Displacement = 5 m

Point to note : The displacement in in direction of Force. This means that W ( Work Done ) will be positive.

W = 15 N × 5 m

W = 75 Nm or 75 J

\textsf{ \red{ Hence work done is 75 J }} Hence work done is 75 J

Given information :-

  • Force applied = 15 N
  • Displacement = 8 m

Formula Applied :-

  • Work done = Force x displacement

Solution :-

=> Work done = 15 x 8

=> Work done = 120 N m or Joule

Therefore the work done by the force of 15 N to displace it 8 m is 120 Joule
