how peasants terribly suffered under permanent settlement system

The peasant suffered miserably. They had to pay high revenues and the would be expelled from their property if the failed to pay the revenue. To pay the revenue , the peasants were forced to borrow money from moneylenders.Once they reached the point were the couldnt pay their debt ,the peasants found it difficult to get out.
