Matter divides into two types,
Fermions and Bosons.
Fermions make every particles and matter that u see while Bosons are force carriers.
Photon is also a boson that carry electromagnetic force and have integer spin.
E= mc^2,
Not fail because photon have rest mass of 0 but not dynamic mass = 0.
Einstein also said that m = m0/ under root 1 - v^2 / c^2.
So it all about energy.
E= hv
Because energy and matter are same.
Hope it's helpful to u.
