It is made in factories by mixing various materials and chemicals, and after using it you might seen that is doesn't dissolve in the soil. It also pollute the soil..

plastic is of two types

1.HDP(high density polythene)

formed by addition polymerisation of ethene in a hydrocarbon solvent in the presence of catalyst such as triethyl aluminium and titanium tetrachloride ( ziegler-natta catalyst)at 333K to 343K and at a pressure of 6-7 atmospheres

2.LDP (low density polythene )

By the polymerisation of ethene under high pressure of 1000-2000 atmospheres and at a temp. of 350-750K in the presenceof traces of dioxygen and peroxide initiator
