Monopolistic regulations are explicitly skewed towards the ruling party, restricting all opposition parties and dissident movements to prop up repressive regimes and one party state.
The major challenges arises from the monopolistic arrangements in non democratic regimes and in traditional democracies.
Examples of some of the egregious restrictions which obviously violated the human rights, the law commonly imposed some limits in the party competition, even in liberal democracy.
Monopolistic regulations such as they limited the basic political rights and civic liberties.

Political parties suffer a lot due to family Monopoly in a given set of government. For example in the current situation, the Congress party of India is completely being destroyed due to family monopoly.
The Gandhi family does not want to lose a seat while the other educatedand qualified members of the party such as Shashi Tharoor and other eminent members are not getting proper exposures. Thus family Monopoly is destroying the current government.
