The President of India is elected by the parliament. it is indirectly elected by the citizens the citizens elects the MLA's and MP's and they further elect the President...

Hello my dear friend...
actually president is not elected but he is appointed....
by the all the members of parliament ((both houses.... lok and Rajya Sabha...))
and also by the member of legislative Assembly... of.. all the Indian States....... by the electoral ballot...
