The price of the share of a company increased at the rate of 15% in the next year and again increased by 20% in the third year. If the present value of the share is $2000, what will be it's value after three years.

Let the original price be x

Since incresaed by 15% therefore 15x/100

Again the price is increased by 20% therefore 20x/100

ATQ,

15x/100 + 20x/100 = 2000

35x/100 = 2000

x = (2000 × 100)/35
