RABIES IS A DISEASE CAUSED BY A VIRUS CALLED LYSSAVIRUS AND THIS VIRUS ENTERS OUR BODY BY RABID ANIMALS LIKE DOGS,CATS,JACKALS AND OTHERS.THIS VIRUS ENTERS BY THEIR BITE AND GOES TO OUR BRAIN BY PERIPHERAL NERVES THROUGH SPINAL CORD AND THEN GOES TO OUR SALIVARY GLANDS. SYMPTOMS OF RABIES ARE EXCESSIVE SALIVA IS PRODUCED AND MADNESS.

Rabies is caused by rabies virus. The virus first attacks the central nervous system. The virus is transmitted to humans that is by bites and scratches from infected animals. Dogs are the most common source.
