SCID is a serious and rare disorder. In this disorder, the child is born without the T and B cells which are responsible for the formation of white blood cells. This disorder does not allow the body to resist infections and diseases. It is a genetic disorder.

AIDS is caused by the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). This virus reduces the production of the T cells. The T cells are produced but the virus destroys them simultaneously. It is a form of transmitted disease.
