It depends on whether you are using brainly app or brainly site.
If you are on app then there will appear 4 icons when you ask a question. If you want to click a picture then click the "camera" icon.If you want to take the picture that you have already stored then click on the "gallery" option.
On site , there is a "paper clip" icon.Click on that ,it will direct you to your phone gallery.From there you can choose the picture and attach it in the question.

then go to settings
installed apps
brainly
→ click of permissions
allow all the permissions
then click of clear data
and finally click of force stop
after this next time when you will log in again then it will be working well
