respect only comes when the thing or someone gives us something ......same thing applies here our mother India gives us place to leave ...to do great things so for this we sing a song or anthem which increases love affection about our country many religions languages castes but. this is the place which teaches us to how to leave..... so we should respect national anthem.....

The code states that persons present are expected to stand and face the flag ,if there is one . The civilisations should stand to attention with the right hand over their heart or by standing in attention and saluting the flag while national anthem is going on.
