Simple permanent tissue
1. It is made up of only one type of cells, i.e. the cells forming this tissues are similar in structure and function.
2. They are of three types Parenchyma, Sclerenchyma and Collenchyma.

Complex permanent tissue
1. It is made up of more than one type of cells having a common origin.
2. They are of two types xylem and Phloem!!

• They perform a variety of functions like protection storage mechanical support etc .

• Examples : Parenchyma , collenchyma and sclerenchyma .

Complex Permanent Tissue :

• Made up of more than one type of cells .

• They help in conduction of water minerals and put two different parts of plant body .

• Examples : xylem and phloem .
