How skin works as a sence organ

The skin work as sense organ as it sense heat, cold, etc.
The sensation of the weather is felt by our skin only. As the other 4 sense organ skin is the most important thing one.
As if we keep our hand in the thorn of the plant it directly sends the message to the brain to remove the hand from that place. And we remove our hand.
And skin have some pores by which sweating is also done.

skin works as a sence organ. It feels us cold and hot. any injury in our body. infact skin play most important role as sence organ. if somebody has blind he touch somthing and tell what it is.
