Tree-planting i.e. method of transplanting tree seedlings generally for forestry, land reclamation.

It changes from transplantation of larger trees in arboriculture and from lower price but slower and less reliable distribution of tree seeds.

Silviculture an activity is known as reforestation or afforestation depending on whether the area being planted or hasn't recently been forested.

It involves planting seedlings over an area of land where forest has been harvested/damaged by fire, disease or human deforestation.

Plantation of trees is carried out in many parts of world and strategies differ widely across nations and between individual reforestation companies.

The process of growing tree is called a tree rearing process.

Tree rearing involves a sound knowledge about the importance of tree as well as the methodologies involved in the rearing of trees.

In order make students participate in tree rearing process, the management or school can celebrate van Mahotsav festival in which the school may supply plant saplings to the student and encourage them to grow it.

On the other hand, students of scouts and guides and NSS can also be motivated in growing the plant and to take care of it.
