see the surface area and wind speed is directly affect the evaporation . because if the area is more the sunlight cover more area and help in drying cloth
eg :-take water in a glass and in a plate and keep it at sunlight the water in plate will evaporate soon

The speed of air that is flowing across water will affect how quickly the water evaporates. The three main parameters that control the evaporation rate of a body of water are: the surface area, the temperature, and the partial pressure of water in the air.
