How synthetic materials cause harm to our environment?

synthetic material are not decompose by the devompers and unbiodegradable
by this they garm the environment

As synthetic fibre can't get decomposed it harms the soil. If it is thrown in water bodies such as river ponds and lakes then the aquatic animal will swallow it and it would lead to death of aquatic life....
