Environment plays an important role in determination of sex
examples:
1) Bonellia - It is a marine worm and the male is the parasite in the gonopore of female. When the female releases ova, male release sperms and after fertilisation, the development occurs
When the development occurs in the proboscis of female, it give rise to male and when development occurs away from female in sea water, then give rise to female
Here Proboscis environment and Marine environment determines the sex
2) Lizards or some reptiles : In this case the determination of sex is temperature dependent. When eggs develop at higher temp; it will produce females and when develop at low temperature it produce males.
