2000 years ago there all the landmasses were joint together.There was Angraland in North and Gondwanaland in South.India was joint with Australia.As we all know about earthquakes,at that time tectonic plates collide and only India shifted from South to northern hemisphere.In the Northern hemisphere, there was Tethys sea ,when the Indian landmass reached North ,the Tethys sea uprose and Himalayas were formed.
