It is absolutely true meeting between Cassius and Brutus was the turning point for Roman Empire. Cassius knew he needed Brutus on his side if his plan and conspiracy to assassinate Caesar was to be successful. He understood Brutus’s nature well. He put seeds of doubt and suspicion in his heart, which developed gradually and made him become part of the conspiracy. The little concern for Caesar that was left in Brutus’s heart, Cassius wiped it away by throwing letters in Brutus’s home. He wrote the letters making them appear as if they had been written by Roman citizens. Thus, Cassius’s meeting with Brutus became the turning point for Roman Empire as after it followed Caesar’s assassination and chaos.
