modern methods of irrigation are more efficient than the traditional ones because hyv seeds need a plenty of water to produce best results . under traditional methods of farming farmers had to depend on monsoon rains which irrigate very small plots of land .modern methods of irrigation includes electric ru tubewells which irrigate more larger plots of land as compared to the traditional ones.
